The previous identity of Malas Juice lacked coherence and structure, with a green frog-like mascot that didn’t align with the brand’s image. Recognizing the need for a complete overhaul, I decided to bring about significant changes to create a cohesive and appealing brand identity.

New Malas: A Fresh and Lively Identity
• Typography: The new logo design for both Persian and English versions of “Malas” embraces a whimsical, fantasy-like style. The letters are bold and deformed, with a crunchy, playful texture, giving the brand a more fun and approachable appearance. This distinctive font choice reinforces the playful and vibrant nature of a juice brand.
• Pattern & Pictogram: A repetitive pattern was introduced using the first letter “M” of “Malas” to create visual consistency and recognition across various brand materials. Additionally, a new pictogram was proposed, featuring the letter “M” enclosed in a circle with a crunchy, imperfect form, symbolizing the fresh, lively essence of the brand.
Malas Reimagined: Bold, Fresh, and Full of Life
• Primary Color – Green: The dominant green evokes freshness, health, and natural ingredients, aligning perfectly with the juice category. This green is complemented by ample negative space and white, keeping the overall aesthetic clean and refreshing.
• Accent Color – Orange-Red: A close-to-red orange was chosen as the secondary color, adding a vibrant energy that complements the green. This color combination ensures that the brand feels lively and exciting, while still maintaining a natural vibe.
Implementation:
The new branding was finalized in the last meeting and successfully transitioned into the execution phase. The “Malas” wordmark was added to the storefront signage, and the interior architecture was updated with a predominantly white design, accented by green details to reinforce the brand’s fresh, modern feel.
This rebranding breathed new life into Malas Juice, bringing a unified and professional identity that stands out in the competitive market.
